Log:

We had another continental breakfast (cereal and scary mini muffins) at our nameless hotel and then got on the road to San Diego and the Pacific Ocean. We actually touched ground in San Diego when we got gas, but we just drove through Balboa Park before getting on I-5 and heading north to LA. We met up with our friend Jeff Schwartz and had lunch with him and his friend Jill at Real Food Daily in Beverly Hills.

We got back on the road and headed north toward the Redwoods, but we only got as far as Ukiah.

(Once again we decided against visiting family, Jenn's Uncle Al and Aunt Jeanne in LA, and Rob's cousins Sean and Kristi in Petaluma. Time constraints are a pain.)
