Driftwood down on the Friendly Guy trail. Supposedly, the water is very shallow so a person can wade across most of the channel, almost all the way to Grand Island (seen behind the driftwood and sandbar). We planned to come back and try that out later in the afternoon but ran out of daylight (and gumption).
