One of the hotel cats. One of the things we liked about Isla Mujeres is that the locals try to look after the wild cats and dogs. Several of the street dogs had collars that suggested someone was caring for them, and there was a program to spay/neuter them. And the guy next door to us looked like a long term resident -- he had bowls set up outside his room to feed the cats. We also saw him feeding cats at a vacant lot a couple blocks away. We like to think this was Sr. Lima, living out his retirement.
